My name is Rachel and I make things.
A California girl on the inside, but learning how to live like a European, I have posted up on a piece of Ireland for the past three years. Prior to the American exodus, I work my bum off managing clothing brands for an amazing and talented woman in the screen printing industry. And even before that I managed to go to university and get a degree in Community Studies (UC Santa Cruz speak for journalism and photography with a mix of sociology).
All this and you probably want to know if I am the right person to be making computer-y things for you…. Over the past five years I have successfully learned Adobe Illustrator and In Design from the ground up as well as learning HTML, CSS, and some scripting languages like JS and PHP. I am self-taught and continue to learn everyday. My foundation skills come from photography and Adobe Photoshop, which I consider myself to be an expert in both. (And this I do have a degree to prove it!) I do not consider ANY project to be above my skill-set. If I am not sure how to do something, it just means I have to learn, and I do that pretty quickly.
To wrap up this moving little bio, I will leave you with a graphical representation of my skills (really just because I like graphs.)
